What a fantastic show! It was great to see our friends again! The venue, Cheers, was so packed that we couldn't even set up a merchandise table! The sound at Cheers is also famous for being incredible, so that always makes us play well! This gig was a nice 'pick me up' after the mediocrity of the previous night…

The band that played before us was one of the darkest and scariest bands I have ever seen, fronted by a guy who looks like he was in prison or soon will be. The vocals were like Satan's. During their show, he got a little overzealous and through a pitcher of water all over the audience including my drum gear and me. Thanks and good luck with the throat polyps!

Our wonderful friend Joshua Murray cooked us an incredibly delicious meal (meals plural, I should say…there was a lot of food!), and presented us with a cooler full of goodies for our travels!!! This guy and his friends are some of the most considerate and friendly people that we have ever met! On the last tour through South Bend, these guys picked us up at our hotel, took us to a park on a beautiful fall day, and fed us homemade ribs and salads! What a great bunch of guys! Thank you very much! Congratulations to Hal and his lady on the birth of their son, John!!! Thanks again Joshua, Greg, and Hal!!!

Apparently after our last show in South Bend, Hal and the fellows went to a party, and this is where he and his girlfriend conceived their son, shortly after they met at our show that night! They are a lovely couple and seem quite happy! It's nice to see life fall into place for such nice people!

Special thanks to the guys from Michigan that drove 1.5 hours to see us!

We stayed at our usual Days Inn, quite cheap and quite dirty! They apparently have been renovating the place, but its clear that they just slapped a coat of paint over the filth and decomposition! Its weird taking a shower and winding up less clean than before the shower…mold is funny that way!
